Seven years of foundation
Working directly under the shop’s owner and master mechanic before my move to Texas, building the practical skills and attention to detail that still guide my work.
ARON’S MOBILE BIKE SERVICES
Mechanic. Coach. Racer. Bike advocate.
MY STORY
I’m Aron, owner of Aron’s Mobile Bike Services. My work brings together years at the workbench, on the start line and alongside athletes chasing their next goal.
Before moving to Texas, I spent seven years at Spin City Cycles, working directly under the owner and master mechanic. That foundation grew through nearly five years managing Sun Country Cycling in Killeen and another year at Blur Cycleworks in Round Rock after leaving Sun Country.
Today, I bring that experience to your doorstep—whether you’re getting an everyday bike rolling again, preparing for a big event or looking for support in your own development as an athlete.
YEARS AT THE WORKBENCH
Working directly under the shop’s owner and master mechanic before my move to Texas, building the practical skills and attention to detail that still guide my work.
Managing the Killeen location and working hands-on with everyday, performance and specialty bicycles, while helping riders find the right solutions for their goals.
A year at Blur Cycleworks in Round Rock after leaving Sun Country, adding to the shop experience I now bring to AMBS.
COACHING & COMMUNITY
In Decatur, Illinois, I spent three years as cycling coach and mechanic with Millikin University’s women’s triathlon program, supporting the team as it earned podium finishes in each of its first three years.
Coaching athletes in Decatur, Illinois, from their first 5K to the pursuit of a faster marathon. Different starting points, shared commitment and the satisfaction of seeing the work pay off.
Years of organizing group rides and events throughout my shop and coaching career—creating reasons to show up, build confidence and share the miles.
I PUT IN THE MILES, TOO
Ten marathons, a 2:51 personal best, three Boston-qualifying times and a top-10 finish at the Rock ’n’ Roll New Orleans Marathon. Those experiences shape how I approach preparation, pacing and the long road toward a goal.
Two appearances at Unbound Gravel 200, back when it was known as Dirty Kanza, along with other major national gravel events. My personal cycling distance record is 240 miles, and I’m a big enthusiast of local cyclocross and time trials—always looking for another way to test my limits.
Cycling, running, triathlon and multisport bring together everything I enjoy about endurance: learning, commitment, community and the challenge of seeing what you can do. That perspective carries into how I work with riders and athletes.
AMBS is about making riding more accessible, supporting the local endurance community and helping riders get more out of their bikes and themselves.
